Technical due-diligence

Technical due-diligence of an asset or project is typically conducted to secure the necessary knowledge for an acquisition, or to obtain documentation to be used to finance or sell a project.

Modern Energy also offers state-of-the due-diligence within the wind and site discipline. This includes evaluation of energy yield assessment, site suitability & loads, risk and uncertainty for projects in all phase of development. Special attention is given to mesoscale effects due to terrain and stability interactions, as well as local turbine performance which, in our opinion, are two key aspects that are not fully accounted for by the current standard methods in the wind industry. For more information about our methods to capture these effects see Atmospheric stability and Turbine performance.
